XP Pen AC19 Shortcut Remote

This review is for the XP Pen AC19 Shortcut Remote that I recently bought from Amazon website.
I have a couple of Display Tablets or Drawing Monitors, from the brand XP Pen and the brand Ugee.
I have the XP Pen Artist 15.6 and the Ugee 1910B. My XP Pen has 6 shortcut keys and I use it a with the program Sketchbook Pro in which I only use a few shortcuts. I also started to use again the program Sculptris for my 3D drawings, for this I installed again my Ugee monitor without shortkeys, so that's when I bumped with this amazing remote on Amazon.

The AC19 has 10 shortkeys and un dial, all the 9 buttons from below are programmable as you wish, and the dial can also be programmable, although this is a little more complicated but once you understand it, it's not that hard. I arranged the dial for my Zoom in and Out, Brush size and even Vol Up and Down.
In the back of the remote you will find the usb receiver, two strips of anti slip and the battery compartment (one AAA).

Once you install the drivers, it looks like these:
You program the 10 shortkeys, the number 10 is the middle of the dial, you have to program it as Interchangeable Function.

I have programmed the shortkeys for the software Sketchbook Pro and Sculptris.
The dial wheel has 5 different ways of using shortkeys. The default word for Wheel works as Zoom In and Zoom Out. And when you use the word Key, it opens another window, you can assign a name for the shortcut and program the KL and the KR, for example the KL for [ and the KR for ] for the brush size, when you press the K10 button, it will make another function, the zoom in or out or another one you have programmed.

The AC19 can be on the drawing monitor if you have this more in a horizontal way, this is because in the back of the remote you can find two strips of anti slip surface.

Another way is how I did it, in the back of the remote I glued a slim magnet, and bought a phone holder for car, the ones you can stick on the dash of the car, that way I put the phone holder on my desk next to my drawing monitor, and the remote can easily been attached or detached to the holder.

Bottom line, I think this is an amazing remote for shortkeys, it has a good size, easy to program, easy to use, works well with other drivers and has a great price, for a low cost you can get a nice remote instead of paying way more for another from a different brand. If you need shortkeys for your display tablet or more keys for another tablet, well, give it a try, you won't be sorry!
