Wacom Intuos Creative Stylus 2 Review
This stylus, it's about $60 in the Amazon website.
It comes in a sturdy case with a nib replacement and remover and the usb charger. It's compatible with almost all drawing apps, I usually only use the Sketchbook Pro app and the ArtRage app with my iPad 3.
A few months ago, I did other reviews of two stylus, the Pogo Connect One and the Pencil by 53.
Now, let's see how the Wacom works:
The main reason why I led my eyes on this pencil it's because the thin nib. It's a hard tip and very thin, so I thought this would help me with my drawings, especially because I do portraits, so with the thin lines or details, I thought this would be very helpful!! Wait..... No!! I was wrong!
The stylus is way off where you're making the line, it only works better when you really zoom the drawing, but otherwise it's gonna be really off.
I think this stylus works better with Sketchbook than with ArtRage, but as it's not very accurate, it's hard to draw, and very often you're gonna get ghost lines. I basically just have been using the stylus only for shading, or with big brushes, because if you plan to use it for details, you're gonna be frustrated!
The stylus has two buttons, this is a plus because other pencils only have one button or don't have at all. It's also thin, so it feels good in my hand, but.... it's a big shame when you're expecting so much and get so little.
I think this stylus is barely just fine, and when I say fine, I mean it if the price would be adequate for it, but for $60 and in some places $100??? That's too much, because it's not any brand, it's Wacom, and you always expect the best from this brand.
I think my $9 Pogo Connect is way better than this, and even with the rubber tip that has.
So, bottom line is, if you think you're gonna get a wonderful stylus? You're not. I think it's better even if you don't pay much for a stylus, and even this is compatible with a lot of apps, it's not with every iPad. So, it's up to you!
